There are many different designs of barcode labels available, with most differing in terms of the base material used in the label manufacturing process. Barcode labels also come with a range of different adhesive backings and come in a range of different sizes and shapes.
Aluminium barcode labels
If you need a durable label which won’t wear or fade with use, you should take a look at aluminium barcode labels. Aluminium barcode labels are made to withstand a great deal of wear and tear and can survive well in extreme conditions, such as when exposed to excessive heat or freezing cold. They can also cope well if exposed to chemicals and hence are a durable label choice.
Polyester barcode labels
Although not as durable as aluminium barcode labels, polyester labels are still a hardwearing type of barcode label. They have a barcode image printed under a plastic coating, so the barcode is not easy to remove. When used with a strong adhesive, polyester barcode labels are an extremely useful tool.
Ceramic barcode labels
Having a base of stainless steel makes ceramic barcode labels super-strong. The ceramic coating applied over the steel also makes the label extremely resistant to exposure to high temperatures.
